As our community continues to grow, so too does the need for a place of worship that accommodates all who seek solace and connection with Allah (SWT). We are reaching a point where our beloved mosque is nearing capacity, and with a heavy heart, we must turn some worshippers away during prayer times.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise." (Bukhari)

Inspired by these words, we at The Bronx Islamic Society are embarking on a momentous journey to expand our mosque. This extension will not only provide ample space for prayer, but also create dedicated areas for education, community gatherings, and fostering a stronger bond within our Islamic family.

We are excited to share a glimpse of what our mosque will look like after the extension.  This beautiful space will be a testament to our faith and a beacon of hope for generations to come.
